Ok I'm in here to Keep me a little bit responsible for my eating habits. I had Starbucks coffee for breakfast then turkey and cheese no bread for lunch, and soup for dinner. Then a few cashews for later. I did find a website for paraplegics and they have a forum about losing weight ;D I am going to read and see what they do.

Now that my show is ending I actually have the time and energy to think about this too! I am of the short and chunky clan too and my metabolism went on stike in my late twenties as well. Plus I know the pill and my allergy meds don't help but not much I can do there.
I walked about 1.5 miles from my car to work today. I figure that's a good start. My goal is to just get more active now that I'm feeling healthy and have a little more time!
Sarafina, you let me know if there is anything at ALL I can do to help with the move!!!

you, my dear girl, may sleep. then, when you wake up, you may loll about on the couch. then, you can go out and visit your ponee. then, you may return to your soft bed, and go back to sleep. how 'bout that? as for help, maybe you can help me decorate??? i'm making big burly moving boys do the heavy lifting....

okay -- lean cuisine-ville, party of one.... back in the saddle with my accountability. after a cri-zazy weekend of noshing and TRYING to be good, i'm back at ye olde diet. also, have signed up to use the workout room at the hospital. apparently, they have to orient me to the machines. fine....just don't watch me sweat away!

When I was working only part time, I had total control of our kitchen. Now that I'm always at work, there's been a role reversal--I buy the groceries and DH cooks them. I'm at an all-time high weight, eating lots of lovingly prepared carbs and fats. DH means well, but he's killing me. He made a chocolate cheesecake (2 POUNDS of cream cheese plus loads of chocolate) on Saturday and it is all gone already. Really not fair, because after his accident, he lost 30 pounds and has stayed slim. How can this be? I'm running my butt off (I wish!) and getting globby. He's healing up at home and looks trimmer than ever.
