Hello, I'm Jill and I'm.....well let's just say I'm "well seasoned". hee hee I live in Ohio and have 2 OTTBs. I work with Ginger and my daughter works with Tessa. Both were thrown back in the pony pool because they weren't deemed "race worthy". Mine because she holds her breath when she gets nervous and Tess because she flipped in the starting gate and they didn't want to take the time to rehab her. It'll be 8 years in September since they've come to leave with us as 3 year olds. Boy, time flys when you're havin' fun! We mainly ride for fun, but sometimes like to hit a dressage or open show every now and then for grins and giggles. That's about it, except I've been enoying this form immensely and really wish I had the room for a couple more OTTBs. I've been drooling over the CANTER listings...........

Hey all, noob here!  My name is Margy, I'm 16. My mom found this site, and I decided to join! We (as a family) have 3 horses - a fresh 4 year old OTTB (fresh as in December) mare, a Saddlebred yearling filly, and a good ole' 9 year old, currently bred, Shetlend pony mare. We also take care of a quarter horse mare, a paint mare, and 16(well, 17 as of this morning) mini horses. Other pets include 4 dogs, 2 house cats, lots of barn cats, 2 koi fish, and a mini potbellied pig. My two younger brothers and I are homeschooled... And lastly, I can ride Western, English, bareback and Saddleseat. ummmmm....me in a nutshell! |

Hello. I'm Jen from Pine Grove, PA. I now have Saintly Act (Saint), a 10 year old OTTB who I found last year at Penn National while looking at another horse I found on CANTER. I grew up foxhunting, showing and trail riding. Now I am trail riding and learning dressage before we venture on to bigger things.

im kim from tennesse , i have a qh horse mare i show in halter and a ottb i got about 3 years ago, thank god she was retrained when i got her. i also have a new ottb that i just got 2 months ago. and am learning how to deal with her, she is a great girl i learn something new every day. all tho i have a long journey awaiting me im really happy to have her.
i also have, 3 children from 4 to 13 years. 3 dog, german shepards, 2 cats, 3 ducks, and an african grey. i also rescue horses from time to time from these horse sales and find new homes once they have been rehabilitated. i love horses with all that i am and look forward to them each day.

;D Well, I just found this and figured I should introduce myself! I am Tammy from Oregon. I am married to an most wonderful man. We have 1 mutt dog, (Lucky) my baby and 1 Siamese cat (Little Miss). We are also the new parents of Baby (TB) Registered name Dr. Schmotsie. He will be 8 in April and from what I have been told he was never raced. He has training on Hunter/Jumpers and has done some trail riding. I am excited about getting some weight on him and logging many miles of trails.  |

Hey everyone I am Erica I currently have 1 OTTB named Gunny. He is my baby even though he is a good 16.2. He is very very gently and knows when he should behave. Heck he lets a 8 year old lead him around my his cribbing collar, puts his head down and everything. Enough about that goofball of a horse  I enjoy trail riding with my buddies even during this wild Ohio winters. But my main passion is jumping. I can not wait to start my career as an eventer but since I have been paying for things left and right (like my new trailer eeekk!!! ;P) its leaven my pockets pretty empty. I love talking with fellow horse people and I am always open to learn new things, or just talk. P.s. Hey everyone, i'm Amber, i'm 18 and i'm from Louisiana. I used to own 2 rescued thoroughbreds (among many other rodeo horses) - both off of the race track, and both in horrible condition. About the time we got them healthy again and were ready to start them on simple pleasure riding...hurricane Katrina hit, followed by hurricane Rita. We got some damage from Katrina, but we got completely wiped out by Rita. It tore down our fences and barn, and we were forced to give our horses away. I'm currently in the process of trying to find another OTTB from Louisiana or Texas that I can call my own again...I'm also looking for a job working with horses (preferably race horses)... Also, I'm getting married in a couple months...i'm excited My soon-to-be husband and I own many dogs... mainly Great Danes, and a couple rescued dogs. And also a couple wolf-hybrids... I'm always interested in talking to new people. If you want, send me a PM. |

Hi, I'm Brittney and I'm new of course. Thats why I am writing here. I had a heck of a time getting into this thing (haha). I am really shy..until you get to know me. Most people get the first impression that I am stuck up but I'm just really shy!! I love to meet horsey people, so I figured that this would be a good place to start! I live in Lewistown, PA. I do hunters and am currently learning dressage ;D I have 3 OTTB's that I am currently working with. I have a boarding barn that I operate. I am a full time college student at Penn State. I am majoring in Animal Science and minoring in Equine Science. If you have any tips please send them my way!!
