Welcome SC - you might try posting your introduction on the main forum as well. I'm afraid a lot of us sometimes forget to check this thread.
Bring on the pictures!

Carleton is not too far away at all. I live in Dearborn Heights and board Doc in New Boston. Where do you board at HokieThea? I hopefully will get some pictures online tomorrow. I don't have any since he shed his winter coat this year. I will have to get some soon!

Wow, you are close, SC! We'll have to find some excuse to meet this summer. I board Sid at Ravenwood Stables, which is about 1 mile from my house. Where are you boarding?

I know where Ravenwood is; I was there a long time ago when it was called Carleton Training Center. I'm at Galloway Farm. We'll have to come up with some excuse to meet - I agree. We're so close!

Hi every one i live in Toronto, Canada for now at least. I hope to be living in the country soon where I can have my own horse again. I used to manage a barn for show jumping horse when was younger like 12 years ago. I was a good rider and even better trainer because i didn't have my own expensive horse i was always riding the "unrideable" ones. Actually a lot of the best jumpers do not tolerate mistakes they have no patience for their people. I started looking at the canter website and sport horse pages and I am just as horse sick as before i got my first horse. it is very exciting because i am really dreaming again. My boyfriend was always incredulous that my only goal was to pay off my credit cards. Now he will find out why ;D I wish i had known about canter before i quit riding so long ago. I was just so disillusioned about not having a competitive mount or money i did try to find another stable but the good ones wanted me to pay to work there. Crazy crazy horse world. Anyways i have a successfull construction company and 2 dogs but i will be moving to the country in September. I went to look at my house ( fixer upper 1838) on only 1 acre and like 10 mins away there is a horse farm with arena & ring & stuff so like I said it is very exciting. P.S. I also have a gecko

Nice to have you aboard Rachelle2378 (not a catchy moniker but it'll do! ) We're a mixed bunch here, I'm a transplanted Brit living in Vegas with 3 OTTBs and a whole bunch of critters too. No geckos though. Big Tee will be glad to have someone else North of the border to gripe about the weather with come the winter. Me, I gripe about the weather in the summer - 117 this weekend. Pheeewwww.

Hi Rachelle, and welcome!
I'd be happy to post pics for you. Just email them to me at markandchristi@comcast.net
If you want to post them yourself, we have instructions in the FAQ section. If you have any questions after reading that, let me know. It's not hard, but you do have to have the pictures already on a web server somewhere, and some image hosting services are picky about how you use them.
