I'm Jane, a 51 y/o chiropractor from suburban Philly returning to hunter-jumper after a 20 year absence. I'm taking lessons twice a week to get my legs back and in the next year or so, hope to find a nice boy who needs a good home.

Happy to meet ya janebo! Now, since you're a chiropractor, will you be able to ADUST yourself when you get back into that riding jumpers again? hahaha! I know I certainly need it! And that's just from cleaning stalls!

Thanx, so far I'm getting by with a few cracks once a month, but I'm sure feeling my fifties in the cold weather. I'm having a blast, though!

my name is Nanci. I'm 38 and from Canada. In November I pulled a half starved mountain of a horse from one of the local auctions. Turns out he's an OTTB, though we can't read his whole tattoo so I don't know anything about him other than he's an 8 yr old plain dark bay 17.3 HH gelding. The original plan was to feed him up, deal with his soundness issues and find him a good home, but after a couple of hours with him, I knew "Brigadier" wasn't going anywhere. I also have 2 grade mares(with one foal on the way this spring) a grade filly and a cute little arab cross yearling.

My Name is Jenni, I live in Arlington Washington. I am 31 yrs old (I wish I could forget that extra 1) I am married with 2 daughters 3 and 8. I own an old cow horse name VAlentine (actually my 8yr old claims her as we dont see eye to eye ) I just gave my egyptian Arab to a 12 year old girl who lived on my street so she could begin 4-h and have her own horse for her lessons (its worked out well as she was getting older and I seemed to be getting heavier) I also have about 7 ducks, a couple chickens. A pitbull (shes 9). and our newest edition is Coffee Express. I work in a lab at a hospital drawing blood and processing specimens. (lots of yucky stuff) and am working on my BS in clinical Laboratory Sciences. I think thats about it...not too exciting

Hi, I'm Karen, I live in MD, have three horses, all TB. Carl, my oldest guy (16) that I've had since he was 3. He was bred to race but never did. He has really bad arthritis in his knees and he's having a really tough time in the cold weather. Then I have Danny, who came from Mountaineer through jenarby. He was 5 when I got him. He mostly rested the first year, and has hunted the last two, started first flight at the end of his first season and is settling down to be a great field hunter. He's almost 9 and is a really really fun ride. The most reent arrival is Virtue, oming 4 yrs. I fostered her for Allie (Canter Mid-Atlantic) and she ended up staying. I'm not much good at fostering, I want to keep all of them. She's really a handful, but cute as anything. Finally, I have a german shepherd-malamute, at least, that's my latest guess as to his ancestry. Gray is 5 and was a rescue from North Carolina, where I have alot of family. He likes to trail ride alot. In my other life, I'm a research scientist. But I'd rather talk about horses.
