Hi
My name is Cath, and i live near Leeds in the North of England (UK).
I own Ringwood (J for his stable name) who is a 15.2 8 year old TB ex racer. He has been retired from racing for about 3 years now, and i have owned him for 2 years.
He has been a monster :smirky: for a fair amount of the time i have owned him, but fingers crossed we are making some progress and he has done quite well showing this year (eventually). We also took part in a display ride at Pontefract Races which was made up of a team of ex racers....little fella decided it was soooooo exciting, but i don't think he fancies the racing life anymore! :hahahay:
I came across this site via the ex racers club in the UK as J was bred in America and i was just trying to find out where he came from.
Anyway, enough from me - i just wanted to say hi!

Hello everyone! I am Laura, a grad from University of Florida. I have a 15 year old retired TB named Lurch, and my 3 year old TB stallion named Pleasant Manner (aka: Jeopardy!) I also have 2 sale horses at the moment, Gator is an 8 year old TB jumper, successfully winning in Level 5 and the Mini Prixs, and I have a 4 year old APHA pony named Beach Boy who is an awesome childrens hunter pony. I also have my K9 children, my 3 muttly mutts Duchess, Belle, and Duke, and my adopted greyhound Sandy.
I work as a vet tech at a small animal clinic, and also am the owner/barn manager of my new private barn, TikiGator Farm! I ride hunter/jumper and I often get OTTBs as project horses.
If I ever figure out how to put photos on here, I will post some of my kids! I am so happy to be a new member of exracers.com! Thanks everyone!

One teen aged gelding.
One show pony.
One Golden dog I rescued.
Three cats and two chickens.

Hey y'all! New member here, but my sister (a.k.a. mom2flash) has been posting. I'd tell you all about our "little" darlings, but she already has (including some pics), so I'll leave things at hello...oh, and let me also say that no matter what impression my sweet sis has left you with, Flash is her baby and Bella (who really is a baby...er...foal) is my baby. And such an angel! Not that I'm biased...at all...really.

Hello how is every one my name is justice i am a 31 year old mom in Saratoga NY, i have one 9 year old little girl and together we own a 13 year old ottb . His name is Tower isle we rescued him last October from going to auction he is a great horse and we both can say we will never own anything but ottb'swe also have 2 cats and a rat .We are so grateful to find a forum for ottbs ppl that understand these great animals hopefully we will find good on line friends hear

Oops, missed this stop!
My name is Hannah and I am 16 - I'm working with an amazing OTTB named Sparky right now, retraining him to do Dressage work. It's an amazing, satisfying process.
I also have a mare of my own - a little gray QH mare who I dork around with lower-level dressage and trail riding.

hey all!! im new here I am Samantha I'm 20 years old- a student and a waitress in VA... I currently own an Arabian ex-racer who is for sale but I'm getting a prepurchase done on a Man o'War decendant tomorrow!! ahh so excited I ride a little dressage (learning more!) and jumpers and I'm looking fwd to getting this gelding! I also have a pit bull mix I recently adopted from the SPCA named Deuce... whom I loooovveee dearly Anyways- nice to meet all of ya'll!!! |
