but you do things so differently in America its all a little daunting  Yes. For instance , we drive on the proper side of the road and race horses going around the track the right way. But hey, you people will eventually figure it out............ :cowboyy: :cowboyy: :cowboyy: :cowboyy: :cowboyy:

Hi Xninax - welcome fellow-Brit (even though you're Mancunian!)
Your creatures are loffly (an Ex-Racers word which you'll come to know and loff!)
Actually, there are three Brits here. ClaireLV is also one of us. She's from Norfolk, but is *exiled* from the rain and sleet to the badlands of Las Vegas!
I'm a soft southerner, based between London and Windsor.
The girls here (and Brian) are wonderful. Full of knowledge and tremendously supportive. A group of us met up at Rolex a couple of years ago - and I now run the Ex-Racers B&B for visiting Yanks. (I'm FAR too close to Heathrow!) It's fab. I've had loads and loads of fun with ER visitors, going riding and getting rained over on two continents and at most major events and botanical gardens... you should TRY it!
ATTENTION ALL EX RACERS! There's an international airport at Manchester... ;D
The Heathrow B&B had a minor set-back a month or so ago, but it is up and running again - albeit in truncated form.
You know, girl, I can't keep calling you Xninax - what's your name??
My horses are Edgie and Forry (Edge of the Forest and Foreigner) - neither of them ex-racers, which just goes to show the tolerance on here!
Welcome! Bara

Im Sarah, 24yr old from Southern California. Grew up riding H/J for 10year and recently switched to galloping racehorses at a local racetrack.
I am always open for PMs and so far I love this board and all the peeps in it!
