Yeah I need to re-do mine! I'm Moo, yes people call me that, but wow not a lot since I moved to Paris! I am 22, and live in Paris. (half and half over here!) Am a hunter rider through and through , but know how to RIDE mosty thanks to exracers which I started working with when I was 15. What else...I'm in the arts, spec. contemporary native arts, native american, south american, meso american, etc. Anthropology and conceptual art's my thing. Somehow I put them together. I'm also a master's student here. I guess that's about it!

So i am really slow. I have been on here for months and it never even crossed my mind to read this post. Really Slow. Hi. I'm Sarah. I am 20. I have 2 horses. Eliza a 7 yr old bay OTTB mare and Rogue a buckskin 2 year old filly. I ride western. I love to trail ride, compete in barrels (just local shows and not with my horses) and am working with Eliza on western pleasure and showmanship. Eliza and I Rogue I also own an Aviary. (Living Dinosaurs Aviary) I breed Doves and Finches. I guess that's it.

Hi all. I'm Diane. 40 "ISH" OTTB fan.
I have worked on the track or at the farm for most of my life. Until we relocated to SC and geeze "No Racing"
I have two OTTBs that I got from a trainer that I worked for. I am just getting back into riding after 6 years off!
Nice to meet you all.

I feel so lost on this forum. I am having difficulties finding my way around here. Probably not doing this right, somebody wanna straighten me out?? How do you get the smilie faces and stuff? Anyway, I am Tanya or Freddie. I joined because I figured I would need lots of help. My son and I have a stable full of nice quiet ( for the most part) QH's. Then along comes Freddy Two Shoes. He is a 6 yr old OTT TB ( did I do that right). We have him to try to re school him so he can go on to lead a useful life a trail horse or maybe low level dressage horse. He is so different from our QH's !! We live in Florida and have 12 acres with a barn, arena usual stuff. Hubby likes the horses and will ride with us sometimes. I would post a picture if I could figure it out.....

Hi Freddie - you're fine. Just post away on whatever forum you want to visit... Mainly, we have the Horse Related (HR) forum for anything concerning our horses and they don't have to be TBs... and NHR (non horse related) for anything ELSE! When you want to reply to something, just hit "reply" on the top or bottom bar, and a box comes up for you to type. Above that box is the list of smilies you can add to your post. Try it! Posting pictures is only slightly more difficult. When you start a new thread or post a reply, you'll be able to select a little icon that looks like a photo in a frame. It will give you the image tags and then you have to insert the URL address of any photo you have online somewhere, like in webshots or club photo or someplace like that. Now when you hit "quick reply" at the bottom of one of these threads, you WON'T get any of the little smilies or icons or anything. All you can do is type. Which is what I'm doing right now! Welcome!

Duh!! I guess I need to start looking in the other boards!! I never knew this was here! I'm sort of new, so I guess I should post here! I am the proud owner of an OTTB. I've had him for almost 2 years now, he was off the track for 2 months and boy was he a mess, but that's another story! Anyway...he's doing great and on his way to being FAT! This is my baby. His registered name is Boyle Heights Kid, but his barn name is Boy. I'm looking forward to making alot of new friends and basking in a wealth of information! Amy

Hey everyone...I'm in my 20's and ride a 9 yr old OTTB. He raced until he was 7 but it just wasn't in him any more. I've been with him for about a year now. I'm here mostly for advice and training help. He broke my back in December so now we're starting over again with the training. To top it off, we've just moved barns so he is acting like a complete nerd! haha!

:bangy: Just discovered this, after posting for over 6 months.... Well, anyhow, I am 20 years old, I own a charming (read: bratty) OTTB gelding named Reggae who is 5 years old. He's my little darling. My mom and I drove to S. Illinois to see some horses and we came back with him, the best 500 miles we've ever driven We are attempting Dressage, we went to our first schooling show last weekend doing Intro A and B and placed 2nd in both tests, so now I have no excuse not to start our canter work, eek!

Welcome everyone - new and fairly new! Great forum/awesome horse people. No question is too dumb - trust me I've asked from doozies (sp?). Jump on in. Oh and beware the forum cowboy/comedian - Brian and the cutting wit of my favorite aussie, Tash. Love you guys.
