Ok, the dragon head on that boat has to be re-designed big time. It looks like the floating device I had when I was 3 years old (you know, the ones you had to hold on to for dear life, if you let go, you slip right through/under and you drown). Not a good match at all for those fierce-looking, screaming warriors!  |

Actually, you're on one of those dragon boats. You need to visit 'Once Upon A Time'...
Now you may understand why I'm scared of the neighbours.... They don't like me. There are a lot of them.
ps : I see what you mean, the dragon looks more like a cuddly bath toy. I feel better now.
And I like the VERY 21st Century rule that : "All Jarl Squads may pick up their torches at (blah blah) . NO SMOKING."

Not saying for sure,cause I really should start saving money, but since my vacation picks will likely now be back to mostly winter picks...damn seniority stuff...maybe if I can get the right week or two off, maybe we can go next year. Can't really commit until I know which weeks I can actually get off next year and that won't be until the end of November or early December. Which of course, will probably make the air fare that much more. I'll check the fares online, then double check with a travel agent, sometimes they can get better deals trying to fill up seats on charter flights. |

Wouldn't that be fun!!!! I can just see you in Viking horns. There are lots of islands to explore. I have a pretty little house, with a pretty guest bedroom - scary Vikings next door!
p.s. Ref Ann's original pic of the 2013 'squad' - look at the little lad (extreme right) - middle(ish) row - the standard bearer. The nephew of an associate of mine. She was SO proud. He was the Junior Jarl. Poor little lad.

Funny you should mention your friends nephew, as I did notice him in the picture and all I could think, from the photo, was the 'poor lad' was thinking, 'we do this why?'
