;D ;D The creepers tugged the three witches through the chink in the wall, and the knight was dragged off his steed after them. The furious screams of the disappointed throng rose upon the morning air, then fell silent as the garden walls sealed once more. What book, chapter. J.K. Rowling, Tales of Beedle the Bard but for the life of me. I can't remember what chapter....maybe Babbity Rabbit??

Maybe not. You got the right book but wrong story. Witches name were Asha, Altheda and Amata. Does that help?

While still leaving the question open for Bara and Brooks on the book they read together, of which I have no clue here is another trivia quiz from days of yore, aka: a long, long time ago....
This is a play believed to have been written around 1594 portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta.
The title and written by whom?
More clues as needed....

;D ;D
For Deb: A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy by William Shakespeare. It is believed to have been written around 1594 to 1596. It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. These include the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors, who are manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set. The play is one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world.
;D ;D For Big Tee and Bara: The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the story, The Fountain of Fair Fortune

Brooksie - I've never read Beedle the Bard!
All I really know about Midsummer is 'Oh Wall!' Bottom and the asse's ears! Oh and Titania and Oberon.
To change the subject, unseasonally - who can name the 12 days of Christmas from the popular carol?
"And a partridge in a pear tree."

Brooksie - I've never read Beedle the Bard! It's all about the Tales that young Witches or Wizard learned as kids. It contains the story that Harry has to figure out in Deathly Hollows. It is a good short read. I thought you send me mine I guess not. ' Elves and Dragons! I says to him. Cabbages and potatoes are better for me and you. Don't go getting mixed up in the bussiness of your betters, or you'll land in trouble too big for you, I says to him'. What book, who said it.
