I am looking for a new home for Blue. I simply do not have the facility or the time he needs Youngest daughter just got accepted on the dance/ gymnastic team and there went any weekends I had. I am sending him to a catch rider who shows on the a/b circuit in Chagrin Falls on the 29th. After that date, he will have an agent and hopefully get sold to a nice show home. I thought I would offer him up here first, with the hopes that someone would take him and post about him here. He is 16'3, solid Bay. sound. Has been off the track for a couple years. Needs Steady work. I have only worked with him on the flat. Ok this sounds just too good!! I live in Leroy so when I read Chagrin Falls and a horse that needs a home, that was perfect....THEN I saw his pictures and he's absolutely beautiful! Is he being kept in Chagrin Falls now? I'd love to come see him or see a video for now if you'd prefer. Please let me know, hopefully this is one of those "meant to be" kinds of things : )

No I live outside Mount Sterling, Ohio which is about 35 min SW of Columbus.
He will be going to Chagrin Falls on the 29th, for training and showing.
He is not trained to jump yet, and last summer his flat work was coming along good, but with no riding this winter....
Well lets just say a 10 min tune up isn't going to cut it :-)
He is not crazy....just needs some consistant work.
I rode him the other day and he was fine walking through the field to get to the outdoor.
he is fine around kids, dogs, cats ,4 wheelers......general craziness :-)

That still wouldn't be a bad drive at all, with the trips I've taken to the state fairgrounds for various things I could probably do that part of the drive with my eyes closed!! I sent you a PM back with my e-mail address for photobucket and will give you a call when I leave work, I get done at 5:00 also. He doesn't sound crazy at all, he sounds like a wonderful project! That just made me grin from ear to ear!! I will of course put lots of updates and pictures up!....maybe more to your personal e-mail Holly so I don't crowd the thread with 6 million pictures : ) I can't WAIT for him to be here and show you his new home!!

Thanks so much nybabyz!! You are welcome ANY time to cross the river and see my new guy : ) He'll be at Maple Brook, the newer barn right on Vrooman Road, do you know it? We're coordinating his arrival day now (sometime in the next 3 Sundays) so I will post it on here when we have an exact date. I'm so excited I think I might just burst in the meantime!!!!

OKay, it's been a while since I was up in that area but I think I remember where Vrooman is....how new is the barn? Very cool that everything worked out! We'll expect to see at least SOME of these pics!

Cwy - you're right, its between Carter and 5 Points, closer to 5 Points on the right if your coming from the highway. All you really see unless you look close is the pasture fence along the road with a sign for Maple Brook Equestrian Center - the barns, arena, etc. are tucked in the far back right corner. I would say its only been there roughly 3 years, you'll have to stop by, its a really nice place. Jenarby - Vrooman is the one after Route 44 and before Route 528.....and pictures will definitely not be a problem!! My problem is always taking TOO many!! Our poor dog closes her eyes when she sees the camera - sad when your dog is ready for the flash  |
