ok so im not in the best shape i am gonna show this year and i dont want people looking at my horses going poor baby i bet her back hurts when she gets off.... i need to lose weight on a big note do you guys have any suggestions that could help the pounds just fall off? ?? and fast please help despertly seeking a nice figure

Fast weight loss is not the way to go. Trust me. Been there, done that, and it's hard on your body & never lasts - you usually gain it back & then some.
The best weight loss is slow & steady. Up your exercise while lowering your caloric intake.
I don't know what a "big note" is in your terms - to some people that's 10 pounds - to others (like me!), it's 100 pounds. Losing 1-2 pounds a week max is a good goal. It doesn't seem to stress out your body as much if you keep it in that range. You can lose 75-100 pounds pretty safely in a year if you try hard enough.
Weight Watchers is a GREAT program if you need help with deciding what to eat & how much to eat. You can do it online or in person meetings - I recommend the in-person meetings myself. They are much more effective.

Drink a lot of water. I lost 5 lbs in the last week by 2.5 qts a day. I also have been writing down what I eat, and using the diabetic exchange table.

The best way, the most proven, healthiest way is to try to lose 1lb a week. Work out everyday if possible to burn about 250 calories (about 3 miles walking, or 30 min elliptical) and but 250 calories out of your diet (1.5 can of pop)
An average woman really doesn't need more than about 1500 to 2000 calories a day. If your very active then of course eat more. The 2000 is pretty much the most. For myself, at 5'5, 22 yrs old, with moderate activity, I find that I maintain my ideal weight (about 130) by eating around 1600 calories a day. Right now I'm about 12lbs over, and I've been eating far, far more than 1600 calories and not working out.
It sounds really easy, but its hard, I know. Take small steps and build up to a better lifestyle. I started by cutting out cheese and mayo on my sandwhiches and switching to diet coke. 1 slice of cheese is about 70 calories, so every litle bit adds up quickly!

A really good book is "Clean Eating" Tosca Reno. She has a website. It really explains how over eating and eating the wrong foods make you gain weight. According to this book your Weight is based on 80% Nutrition 10% exercise and 10% genetics. I have been following it for two years now - I have lost 20 pounds 4 years ago and since reading and using this book have lost another 10 pounds in the last two years without really trying. . Just kept making small gradual changes to my diet. Last year I gave up all the fake sugars-Diet coke and sweetened yogurt. Replaced with water and greek yogurt. When I gave up diet coke-thought I could never do it but now I couldnt drink one if you paid me. It taste like straight up chemicals. Diet coke made me so bloated. Also they made me hungry all the time for more sugars. Just stick with natural food. No man made prepackaged stuff. Eat more fish and chicken and beans, fruits and veggies. Try to stay away from beef-it is high fat and calories and takes a long time to digest. Eat to nourish your body. Drink lots of water.

Replaced with water and greek yogurt. Hey GG, I just tried the Greek yogurt this past summer and it's delicious! I love it! However, I'm a tightwad and soon discovered that it is just like homemade yogurt which is much, much less expensive. Yogurt is extremely easy to make. Let me know and I'll post a quick recipe. When available, I use fresh goat milk, but these days I'm using fat free cows milk from the grocery store. Um, to add to the op. I'm useless at losing weight. I've weighed the same for 2 years and have been trying to lose 10# for a YEAR! Just began running 3 miles 4x/wk and gave up sweets for lent. Running should shed 5 and the sweets should shed another 5, so with any luck at all, I'll get the 10 off. I like the weight watchers point calculator. It really helps to write down what I consume daily.

I hate counting things, and I know I could never stick to any formula for what and how much to eat. My weight stays pretty close to where I want it. Yes, some of that is lucky metabolism, but also I just don't eat junk. And my definition of "junk" is probably a lot broader than most! I avoid processed foods- which means I use real fruit, real veggies, real meat, real butter, real eggs, etc. I read labels carefully and steer clear of anything with high fructose corn syrup, which is in so many foods you cannot imagine it until you start reading labels. Look closely at what's really in those healthy looking breads in the grocery, or those bottled juices that seem more healthy than pop. It's almost all junk calories, and I have a hunch that the chemicals in those convenience foods mess with our metabolic processes, too.
I also don't eat in restaurants often. And I really stay away from drive-through stuff. I almost never get that stuff, and when I do, it always makes me feel queasy. Hmmmm......
One of the seeming disadvantages of preparing your own foods from scratch (and a casserole with canned soup in it doesn't count as "scratch"! LOL!) is that you work harder for less food. Which, when you are trying to burn calories and lose weight , is actually a good thing, right? Plus it tastes so much better.
So, I say eat all the fresh fruit and veggies you can consume,. A little butter, lemon juice and a tiny pinch of salt on fresh broccoli tastes delish, and is way healthier for you than a bag o' chips, right?

so how many calories should one have a day to lose weight? That is so variable that no one can answer it for you. You may want to write down all that you eat currently for a few days to get an idea of how many calories you currently consume. This will be especially helpful if you are not in a period of gaining and are just remaining the same weight. From there, you can decide how many calories you want to remove from your diet to lose the 2 to 3 pounds per week. Each pound is said to be 3500 calories. I wouldn't count the calories burned in figuring the calories to deduct from your present diet. Exercise, to me, is more stand alone. The benefit of exercise that I consider in weight loss is that it keeps your metabolism up. With decreased food intake, the body's metabolism has a tendancy to slow down to compensate for the reduced calories. It can be very easy to lose weight - or it can be virtually impossible.

Ive heard from a friend who is a dietician that the majority of the time when we think we are hungry, it is our brain's way of telling us we need more water. You might want to try drinking more water for sure and try to avoid things like coke when youre having meals. You can also drink a glass of water prior to eating a meal and that will ensure that you don't eat as much but feel just as full. Also, when you are craving s snack, i found that the majority of the time I could just start chewing a piece of gum and my craving would go away. And it is a must that you NEVER eat out of boredom. If you absolutely have to have a snack, try something healthy like an apple, but stay away from the junk food for sure. I've tried so many diets and pills its not even funny. The pills don't work, I can assure you of that, so don't even bother because there are too many health risks. The only diet that I found that actually worked was Slimfast, but you have to stick to it pretty strictly. If you absolutely have to have something sweet theres plenty Slimfast bars out there (blueberry muffin was to die for!) that might calm that craving. If not, try to get the weight watchers 100 calorie packs for those "must have" cravings.

I just joined this great site: www.sparkpeople.com and its great. It provides an easy food journal and meal planner, an exercise planner, and simple exercises you can do at home to build fitness. There are also message boards for people with similar goals/issues/interests that are supportive and friendly. I would recommed it if you have 2 pounds to lose or 200.

You can actually wean yourself off of sugary/sweet food. I know, I did! But it's very easy to fall back. Sugar is addictive. I did Weight Watcher for about 2 months last year to lose about 10 pounds, it worked well. They have great recipes on there, too! I try to exercise every day, even if it's only 30 mn, as long as I'm sweating, I know it's good for me. It can be just walking the dog (walking fast in the woods on hilly trails WILL make you sweat, lol!) or turning on On Demand and doing something on there. Even at work, I park further away, and I never use the elevator. I run up the stairs! I think most of the weight loss is about changing your diet tho. When I stopped eating cookies, bread, ice cream etc. etc. and when I ate a lot less pasta and rice products, I lost weight without exercising a lot more than what I usually do. OTTB FAN has a great tip about drkinking water when feeling hungry, or drinking it before a meal. It works! And NO sugary/vitamin/whatever drinks. You can wean yourself off of those, too! Plain water is all you need. And a little red wine at times

The idea of making my own yogurt sounds great! I love it, but hate paying for the stuff I really like at the store. I think a yogurt maker would pay for itself in no time!
