You know...I'm going to have to be camping with my daughters Brownie troop tomorrow...*sulk*...I haven't missed a Derby in I don't know how long (on TV anyway). Does anyone know the exact time of the race...I looked and couldn't find it. We're only camping a milefrom the house...lol...I can slip away for a couple minutes if I know exactly what time the race is!

hehehe Mega, I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO THE DERBY. In my freshman year at OSU, I planned to go, but didn't get there (riots on campus and stuff). My roommate did tho, well almost. Couldn't get within ten miles of the place and gave up. This was back, eeeeee, 19--------70

BUT I WILL be making my celebratory mint julep and sitting in front of the tube, well, with my arm hanging out the window with the TV antenna so I can get the broadcast. but IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT ;D ;D ;D

Barbaro, ridden by Edgar Prado. Very straightforward win. Nobody seriously challenged this horse. He was beautiful.

Wow! Finally got to see the Derby. Thanks to the internet. Barbaro was awesome! The Derby is such a traffic jam, so even though he definitely looks good for the next two races it will be interesting to see what the Preakness brings. :banana: With his time in the Derby he'll definitely be hard to beat. Some trivia, Seattle Slew was the only horse (so far) to make it through the Triple Crown races as an undefeated race horse.
