...party??? The Christmas party was such a success. And I think you lot later went and had a picnic without me??? You can all come over to me (the ghost does a great buffet spread and lethal party punch - I think that's how he died!)... or we could meet somewhere tropical .. Hawaii? Bring your horses, plus (of course) a dish, brew and Elvis suit. Lynne may NOT bring shoes, she only loses them.
Christi - bring your noodleship :curse: :curse: software.
Keely - could you please bring poor Truth???
Anyone up for it? If so, let's pick a date, pop a cork and meet up here? B

Sadly, we've eaten all the homemade salsa I canned last summer--it would be such good board-warming fare. But I'll whip up some comfort food. Samosas with chutney, anyone? Yummmm.

Here's a funny thing - I didn't do all those little question-marky people! Where did they come from! Yup - you whip up another batch, bring the dog ... Now - a date?

has followed you to Exracers. But really, the poor spirit needs a proper name. Hmmm, how about 'Ian'?

I'm sorry Ad, but Eeuuuuuwwwww! And I'm afraid of samosas, they're all so BIG! You wouldn't happen to have a good Quaker pickle recipe, by any chance? ;D

But are we having a party?? Where IS everyone?? (If those come out as the frowney-person with question marks, then questions will be asked at the HIGHEST level!)

I'm all for it, but not today...
I'm having some internet connection problems and my access will be somewhat limited for the next couple of days. I'm hoping I can get it fixed this weekend.
If anyone needs to reach me directly, I can still get email (for the most part) at markandchristi@attbi.com -- I just may be slow to reply!

Cause I am so in!!! I'm starting now. Haven't done the chores yet. Haven't finished installing new computer which sadly seems to make this board go even slower instead of faster but I WILL PARTY!!! I miss you guys!!!
Bara, bring the ghost. I'm supplying leftover questionably-green medley and no shoes!
Quakers don't have pickles do they? I thought since they were pacifists and all and those darn pickles cause so many fights...well...

Y'all don't even know what samosas are, now do you? I'm bringing them to the party and you will ALL beg for the recipe.
Pickles? Not necessarily an essential for fine Quaker dining. You must have deviled eggs, though! Now isn't THAT ironic?

I thought you meant SAMOANS! Whew, in that case, I would be delighted to try one (some?). Yes, there is something definitely ironic about the Quaker deviled eggs preference. And what are their feelings on devils-food cake??

I make veggie samosas, because Bruce loffs them, and he's a vegetarian--his only failing, bless him. I use lemon, coriander, fresh ginger, a bit of cayenne, etc. The Moosewood recipe is always good. So they aren't too spicy. They're so much work, you really have to make lots of them, or don't bother!
Devil's Food cake! Yummmmmm! You know I wasn't always a Quaker. I was raised by........METHODISTS!!!! I still can't comprehend Catholics playing Bingo and drinking beer in the parish hall! LOL!
