Spoons! S-p-o-o-n-s. What on earth has that to do with horses??? (Don't you dare put the frowning thing, just cos I put more than one '?')
So, I'll have to play Donkey Serenade for Paco on the Bagpipes, then! LOL!

Well, certain bits have spoons on them. We have one called Double Bar Crabbe w/spoon, and it is used on horses that prefer their heads down between their knees (all the better to fall down behind the gate, my dear), rather than at an acceptable BALANCED height so they do NOT fall down.

although, I thought they were there to give them something to play with, for a horse that wouldn't leave it's tongue still. Thanks for the explaination!

I guess I could spoon a couple of spoonfuls of vitamins into my horse's feed...then I could get out my spoonbit and ride the horse, giving him a nice spoonful of sugar for a reward after he does good. But otherwise, I ain't gonna use that word. I still think we need a :curse: for the word "Brian" or "California."
