and trimmed Texas for me. I wanted her to come so that I could see what I was doing wrong and what I could do better.
I haven't been having any problems with Texas (who is perfect), but some things just weren't changing with his feet like I wanted them to. She was very helpful, thorough, and showed and explained to me what and why she was doing. This was well worth it.
After Texas, I pulled out Monty (the pregnant one - who had horrible feet when I got her at the end of October). Her feet look much better now, but Anne thinks she probably has some rotation in the left fore. This didn't surprise me. Of course, with no xrays, we don't know for sure. She moves just fine, isn't ouchy, lame, etc., and I don't ride her so it doesn't bother me too much.
She is due on April 3! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

OK KS. ignore that question down below or wherever it ended up. Was wondering about Monty! Sorry she has a bad footy - old laminitis? But since she's your broody-mare, I guess you'll fix her up fine. OH I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE THREESIAN either! April 3 is her due date? Oh mi gosh can we PULLLLEEEESE have a foal cam? I keep begging everyone to put one in their broodymare's stalls so I can watchit at work. I NEED something productive to do you know! hee hee OH MI GOSH if you get a pure black Threesian colt I am gonna be the most jealous person on the earth. Heck I'll be jealous if you get a bay filly. Can you IMAGINE how gorgeous it will be? Whatever color? I can't wait!
