Well, I got Bailey on Jan. 6th and finally rode him over the weekend. My 13 year old cousin wanted to be the first one on him so I let her get on. He didn't even want to walk, so I take that as a pretty good sign...LOL...good ole plug. We rode him around in the roundpen walk and trot, then went out to the arena with the kids barrel racing. He just walked and trotted around, and I let a couple of the girls try him out. No spooks or anything. He's gonna be a fun one to ride and train...hopefully he'll be a cute jumper...he's very "hunter" looking.

I finally took a couple pics of Bailey and Katya, and will develop them tomorrow. Will probably post them later this week when I can scan them.

That ain't enough information! Bailey and Katya, two new ...TBs? Off the track? ages? geldings or mares? colors, sizes, plans for 'em. Yup, you need to tell us LOTS more! And we need photos. Many many photos of both of them being ridden for the first time. Yes, that would be nice and helpful! Get busy! Congrats on the first (calm) ride and good luck on the rest!

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
