Mom has been kind of busy lately with her JOB so I am thoughtfully helping her out. Because that's the kind of gelding I am. That's why she loves me most, I am sure.
Well we were sure surprised when we actually went to the new place. Mom had whispered to us a few times about getting a better place to stay, but one afternoon she came flying up to the barn and starting whistling at us to come up. It was a weird time of day for fud but you never know with Mom so off we went to investigate. She stuck me and PeaNut inna stall and put a halter on Yonkie and then she kind of galloped down the barn aisle and then ran off with our Fud barrel and drove off again. I was a little concerned about the Fud barrel leaving but I try to trust the crazy woman.
A little bit later she came back and I heard Yonkie stomping around and then nothing. Then Mom came and got me and led me to this big trailer and I of course hopped right on because I am the goodest - and there was Yonkie! Mom sure seemed like she was in a hurry and I stuck my head out the window to see what she was doing - and she ran off and left us in the trailer with this strange man! I thought that she was finally tired of me and that she was SELLING US. I screamed and screamed and screamed and was kind of shaky. When mom came back out with PeaNut I must have had a really bad look on my face because she called me Poor Baby and patted me a lot. PeaNut hopped on and they shut the door and off we went!
When we first pulled out I saw the lady who was always so bossy at the barn pulling into the other gate in her truck. I could hear mom laughing and laughing and laughing up in the truck. Mom has an odd sense of humor sometimes.
We had barely had time to really discuss what the heck was going on when we stopped and the door opened up again - AND IT WAS MOM AGAIN! Whew! She put us in these weird new stalls and walked back outside. I REALLY knew she was selling us ALL then and I told Yonkie. So we all stuck our heads over the top of the stalls and screamed and screamed. But then mom came back and said we were silly. Whew!
So turns out we are at this new place. There are just a few horses and they are not as Meen as at the other place. Me and PeaNut share a stall when we eat and nobody cares! The people there are nice and they pet us and there is always lots of hay. The man who helped pick us up puts these ENORMOUS round bales of it around the pasture so we can always have enough to eat. That is so great. Me and PeaNut usually eat at one by ourselves. Yonkie already has a new Boyfriend - he is this yellow horse called Ghost. He is supposed to be a really good Cow Horse, but he just looks like he's all just Horse to me.
Mom seems a lot happier at this place. She says she has been doing a lot of ReSearch and that is why I am eating this different kind of Fud. I don't get grain anymore and she is putting lots of oil on my Fud. It's still really Good, so I don't care. I am feeling better and maybe that is why?
We got all our feets trimmed and Yonkie sighed a lot and PeaNut tried to kick but I was of course the goodest. Then we all had that weird stuff that says it's APPLE FLAVORED on the tube but isn't squirted in our mouths. Yonkie sighed and PeaNut twitched but I was once again the goodest. Mom is sure Lucky to have me.
