to post about ANGIE dickens? Or I could start saying "Won like Angie." Hehehe.
I've been confuserless, but my MOM brought to me, in Alaska, a NEW Compaq Presario 6000...her name is Sylvia- the computer I mean.
I'm in Sterling AK- and that ain't Arkansas- it's by Soldotna on the Kenai Penninsula. I tell you what- I haven't been many places, but I sure don't want to leave here.
And I'm not defecting to THAT board again...it's all weird (except for Brian of course- not MY Brian but the other Brian) now. People here still talk about (GASP) horses.
Oh, and if my WB rants are offensive, well, noodle it all, this IS a TB board.

Neet picture. Though the ear bunnies do take from the effect a bit. And of course AK isn't Arkansas, AR is. So what are you doing in AK?

Glad you're back with a new confuser! HOw on earth did you live without it for so long. What horses you got these days? Any TBs? And I will have to ask Deb if she knows how Aria is doing in her new job as a "school horse," can you PICTURE it? That's who she sold her to, a farm that wanted her to work for her living. And I hear she has been doing well! Go figure. Debbie has her two STB mares now, and loffs them to death. She rides those trails all around NH, and sees moose and jumps logs and does whatever she pleases with no worries about horse indiscretions. Her new horse is named Kelly, and she was a camp horse before Deb got her. Her other one, Witch, is permanently lame and just a pasture pet. I wish she would break her rules for just once, and post here from work.... she just won't do it, cause she's SOOOOO conscientious! Geez!

I'm glad she's finally having to work for a living. They must ride her in an ALUMINUM sided/roofed arena! Just don't do outdoor lessons on clear days when the signal from the Mother Ship is coming in strong. Clyde the Glide (Aramis) has that darned TB scanning the horizon thing, and he just doesn't care when I try to get his attention, though he's getting better. He's a grade TB- all TB no papers- bred to be a ranch horse, built to jump, and really truly 17.1. YOWZA AND it's mostly shoulder, so I can get on by myself which will come in handy someday on the trail (I hope not I hope not I hope not). Dancer my goofy filly is growing up, but she's as big of a deworming cow as Te-Anna was and not half as pretty (until she moves- then she's the world). I'll need to sell her and Aramis soon, as I have her half-sister coming up this summer and I'll get Tina back from Joe (he's breeding her for a racehorse- good luck!) SOMEday. I'm tired of the horse-selling thing. I almost never sell one- once a year maybe- but it's a real drag to get people cheerful and cooperative and learning then have to send them down the road to who knows what. I don't mind if it's some dorky guy who just needed a sack of grain and some ground schooling and I sell him right away, but when it's someone who had to really learn to open up I worry about them. But I'm a jerk to my horses sometimes too, and the people who are jerks on purpose are usually easy to spot and steer clear of. I hope. I was in a CABIN! all winter. No running water, but I did have electricity. It didn't make us smell any better but we could see how bad we smelled too , so it was kind of cool. I'd do it again if I had to, but I'd get a well put in NOW. I didn't have room for the computer, really, and I didn't want to deal with it. I was home-schooling my boys and actually riding my horses and such. Now I spend so much time on-line looking up web-sites for the kids and checking their stuff out first I don't have so much heart for the casual gab fest. It is NICE to talk to everyone again, though, and there aren't really horse friends around. A lot of horses and people who own them here, just, you know.
