Heeheee yup this questions been asked a million times! I remember it being one of the first things I asked on this boad, and Vida told me that she shelled every one! I knew I had to stick around after that! I love sarcasm!  |

bought HULLED and THEN I'd have worked my poor hunnies up to six cups of SHELL-LESS sunnies- would they be able to waddle through the barn door then? Most assuredly not! GROW YOUR OWN SUNNIES HUNNIES. If you have land you can make a sunflower maze -- That's my little bliss- dream of having my OWN land and I'll grow corn and sunflower and amaranth mazes--- Off topic- amaranth is a great grain, and it's easy to grow, it grows TALL like corn, and it has at leastb a gajillion seeds on each stalk (really, a gajillion. Oh yes I've counted them  ). My horses liked it fine- I just bought it bulk and threw the seeds on the ground in various fashions until some grew. It's supposed to be high in protein. |
