Well, Little Ms. Briana is doing quite well. Here I thought she would become a nutcase with having to be locked up all day, but she is coping like a trooper. I even took her outside last night for a walk and never once did she put a foot wrong. Not bad for a horse who hasn't been outside for a week.
The incision is also looking very good and while it is a hard spot to wrap, she is leaving it alone.
Now if I could get some of her goodness to rub off on the Tigger man, I'd be happy.

Great news! She is such a little lady! What do you mean about Tigger...Is he living up to his name? Christi

Tigger, well, let's just say I can't wait until he has his "brain" surgery (oops, almost typed Brian) LOL.
He is going through your typical coltish behaviour, he is very, very quick. He wil take a nip at you than you go to pop him one to discourage him and you cannot connect with him. So I have taken to carrying a whip and popping him on the shoulder with this type of behaviour. Last night he swore I was going to kill him after he tried to bite me and tried to take off at a canter down the cement aisleway (which was went to due warm temperatures) and he fell down. Needless to say, he scared himself.
But yes, he does live up to his name. As he bounces and flounces all over the place. LOL.

Tigger is 8 1/2 months old now (he was born July 5). He is so different than Briana.
Don't get me wrong, Briana is no angel, but when you discipline her, she will stop a behaviour. Tigger loves to challenge authority. I need to find a gentle gelding who will help tune him in.

I'm so happy to hear Briana's handling her stall rest like a pro. She's so smart, I'm sure she knows it's for her own good. And that Mr. Tigger, he sounds like he's being very naughty to his 'humom'... but he's so cute...

Good to hear she is doing better, and healing.
As to deballing Tigger, if they are both down, get them removed before the weather really warms up
