Lily -- GOOD NEWS!!!! check out and sad news

[Truth]

Lily was adopted by the Stewarts as in John Stewart and his wife. They bought a farm in NJ and take in unwanted animals. Yesterday they announced Lily died. She went to a good place and I hope her final days were happy and peaceful. RIP Lily.

Last month a horse was found abandoned at the New Holland sales. She was in bad shape thin, blind in one eye AND USED AS A TARGET FOR PAINT BALL. Well, here is the followup article about her.

Hey Truth good to see they caught the guy. I'm thinking video surveillance played a part. Bet he took the horse there not realizing he needed health certificates and such. If he'd had them, I'm wondering if we would have ever heard about this horse.

I don't know Zen. The auctions were over and they were closing up when they found her in the pen. Did he bring her at the end hoping they'd put her thru? Haven't seen anything about the whole story. Paint balling her like that………IT INFURIATES ME!!!

I'd figure he brought her there to sell, but didn't know the horse needed a Coggins to be put through, didn't want to pay for one, so left her. That would be my best guess.

If she had a Coggins, or he paid to get one there, they probably would have run her through no questions asked. I could be wrong, but.... I'm guessing New Holland is like Shipshewana and has on site Coggins testing.

Who knows, here's hoping she finds a human to love on her from now on.
