Sorry to be so seldom seen here. I thought life would slow down after I finished school. Hmmmm...

Taking Jack (the cat) to the vet this morning. He was in a fight Saturday night, and though he thinks he is just fine, I want a second opinion. Makes me mad, since the trouble happened precisely on our front door mat. Clouds of cat hair evidence mark the spot. Poor fellow, didn't even go looking for trouble. Number one suspect is the inappropriately named cat across the street: Parsley. We don't call him Parsley, we call him Thug.

Thinking that Bruce and I need a quick getaway this Spring. Considered heading to the coast, but why not Keeneland in April?! No. Not Rolex. I can't handle the crowds, even if they are 1% Exracers! But we could go to the races and have a nice time down thataway. Off to check the race calendar now.

Hope everyone is warm and healthy and happy. Really, what else do we need.

Not sure what I'm doing in April yet. Had thrown out the possibility of doing Rolex, but am considering other options as well depending on who may or not be able to go.

Hey Ann, I was thinking of you as I petted my cat Scout. She is going to be 7 years old this April. I remember you helping me name her. She is still just as sweet as she was as a kitten. Sorry to hear about Jack. Hope he mends quick. I'm hoping to go somewhere this year. LOL

Jack's self diagnosis was correct. He is fine, but somehow I spent hundreds on that office call plus a lot of flea drops for him and Tess. Yikes! I think I will invest in Frontline.
