Family! Bruce and I will host two daughters with boyfriends. One boyfriend is bringing his little boy. The other is bringing his parents. Just ordered a fresh turkey. Bruce says he'll make rolls. I'll do pies and veggies and salads. Daughters will help with relishes and clean up! I need to find something substantial and interesting for Bruce, who is now vegan. I know. I love him anyway. But I am putting butter and chicken broth in just about everything!

Probably going to my mother's for turkey. Ad, sounds good. Really, vegan??? That's a tough one. Meat not too hard to give up, but eggs and dairy (margarine just doesn't cut it IMO) are necessary for all the best cakes and pantries.  |

As it is. since I had a rude awakening this morning...it was snowing! Argggghhhh, too soon, too soon. Has me thinking I'll be digging out for most of the holidays coming soon. OK, today's snow didn't really amount to much, will not require shoveling let alone snow blowing, but, well it's the whole principle of the whole thing. Not to mention doesn't bode well for how the rest of the winter is going to go. Decided to go through some old VHS tapes I have to see whats on them while I do laundry. Well, found one that started with Brisco and Keely. Video of Mother's dogs playing. Kylie the Aussie who's still with us and her English Setter Haley who is not. Now back to Flynn and Zen, plus the other pasture horses. Wow, time flies. I'm thinking that was 2003 and 2004 stuff or 2002 into 2003. Pre digital video camera, so since I didn't time and date stamp it, I'm not entirely sure right now. Most of the tapes seem to have things like the twilight zone on them and such. You know the kind of stuff I'd probably be better off getting the dvd sets and not having to watch the edited versions with too many commercials.  The video camera stopped working way too soon, so I never did get much more use out of it then whats on that video tape I don't think. Anyway, hope most of you avoided the snow. Except for Sue who can get her snow shoes out, because she loves snow.  |
