My QH mare Candy is still a healthy oldtimer. She does look her age though, but with adding senior pelleted feed and beet pulp to her diet she is looking less gaunted up and filling out. Had her teeth floated and hooves trimmed prepping for Winter. She may need to be blanketed this Winter to keep her from shivering. If the truth of what the Persimmon Seed says with it being a spoon we may have a lot of moisture and wet snowfall. ACK, not ready for Winter.
