Hadn't checked this out in a while, the link changed, but was glad I did tonight. Instead of being focused on the usual geysers and tourists, they were watching a bear in the trees. I'll tell you what, watching this bear in the trees, DO NOT climb a tree to escape a bear. Looked like a black bear, but he was doing a hell of a monkey impression. Since the sun has set there, not much to see now, but just shows you never know what you might see on these webcams. Glad I went there last year and hope to get out that way again in a few years. www.nps.gov/features/yell/webcam/oldFaithfulStreaming.html

THANKS ZEN!!!!! I had no idea the parks have a webcam now. I've been thinking about a trip to yellowstone. I've never been there. It's great to 'be there' without leaving my LaZboy

My daughter lives very near Yellowstone. They took a day trip there this week. Here is 4-month-old baby Mardell with her papa. And just because, here's Carolyn with Mardell.

Ad if I lived near there I'd go there all the time too. Too cool. I love how they angled the shot to make it look like he's standing in the water and not on the walkway. When I was at that spot I saw a dead salamander in the water that must have not realized the water was getting to hot to survive in and cooked. Even with all the tourists (self included) it's a great place to visit.
