This last weekend we had to travel some 350+ miles to a place called Riverside, CA. This was for the memorial services of Brian's Step-Father. And to visit a long time (over 15 years) on-line friend we had never meet in person, Wendi W. She has her own board. After many hours of driving and lots of traffic we get to Wendi's home and visit with her. We did have one very unexpected thing happen just as we are going through the door of her house. Her little Doxie jumped into my lap and her door sill was giving me some trouble getting over it so before I could say or do anything Brian gives the chair a good shove and snap goes my front wheels clean off the chair, bolt cracked like an egg "OH SH^^^^T" someone yelled. So then I was three wheeled and had a very happy Doxie on my lap. AND NO SPARE PARTS. We did the only thing we could which to visit with Wendi and her herd. She has Standard Breds and races them. It was so good to finally met her Then I very carefully (don't ask) climbed back into the car. Here's our only picture we took. Now we get to FIL's place. My very smart and cleaver Sister-in-law Kathy was able to find the right size bolt in the garage among all the junk that was there and a quick repair was made.......AMAZING !!!!!!! We all couldn't believe it you know what the odds are of that are...............Like 1000 - 1. It was a most interesting time with the family. Let's just say we all have some very different lifestyles

Nothing like spare parts. Sounds like a great trip overall.
