I feel so bad. She really hit the wall hard, nothing really too bad just a sprain. I hope. If she's not better by tomorrow morning I call the vet. It's not swollen or hot and I can move it without it hurting her.

Gave us pills for her and said lots of rest. She is already baring weight on it

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
