Joe bit you? in the face? WHY? Bad bad Joe. I certainly would have given him the "This is me losing my temper" for 3 seconds.
Lorelei discovered sardines today. She loves them. She's due for a trip to the vet for vaccines etc. Hopefully my daughter will take care of that, since it is, after all, HER cat. (Plus I really don't want to be the bad guy who takes her to the vet hahaha)

I don't know. Why would you bite the nose that feeds you? Our SPCA guy thinks he's not 'wired quite right'. Which is why he's coming over to take us to the vet in his van, which will keep the two separate. I don't want Lexie bitten.
I don't know what has gone on in Joe's past, so why he just lashed out. Ron thinks I should have him put down. I don't believe that's a proper rescue...

Yeah, I love dogs, but am on Ron's side for that, but you already know that. What can I say, I care more about you then Joe. There are a lot of dogs that won't bite you or Lexie that need rescuing too.

Oh, I know. You're right - and thank you. But I just couldn't. He's warm and dry. He knows where his next meal is coming from (DON'T SAY IT!)
There are so many 'failed' sheepdogs which just get bonked on the head or shot, up here. Let's face it (oh DON'T!) It's a farming community, and people just can't afford to keep un-productive animals.
I'll just keep a low profile .... Oh STOP!

Around here Bara it is the Pit bull that gets bonked on the head or shot. We at one time had 2 rescued pits that could be together everywhere, but the car. We found that out the hard way and never made that mistake again. Would schedule different appts. at the vets for them so we did not have to move them together.
Hope it goes well for you today.
the things we are willing to do for our four-legged family. I ended up staying in the barn the first night it was below zero for a good 4 hours. I had been nervous about the storm and Rick said it would probably be better to see the boys with my eyes as to how they were. They were fine. Goal kept looking at me like "Okay you can go now, I've got this." I want a camera that I can put in the barn...........

Goalie-Cam! Do it ... We can all watch!
Yes, Ron once brought a Rescue Pitbull to visit. He was a lovely dog. Not much more than a puppy. I can't remember, now, whether he was Harley or Tyson. They're always one or the other ... But he'd been rescued from a 'dog-fighting' ring - but didn't make it.
When I heard that he'd been put down - I promised Joe that he would die of old age or starvation - whichever comes first!
