"I'M here," squeaked a little voice. Brooks looked all around her. No-one.
"Here!" Squeaked the voice, right in her right ear.
There was a little mouse, wearing a Santa hat and sitting on her shoulder. "I'm your Chair-Mouse," explained little Santa. "You know when your wheel squeaks? That's..."
"YOU!" Said Brooks. Santa-Mouse nodded proudly.
"Well, where IS everyone?" Brooks asked.
SM shook his whiskers, sorrowfully.
"Facebook."
"Is there anything we can do?" Asked Brooks.
"I've got the dragons on it," said Santa Mouse. He cheered up. "And Terrie has a plan ...."

"Oh we are all so cold and weary, shopping is a bother and the traffic is awful." someone said.

The wee hobbit rider from downunder was enjoying the sunshine and all the crazy critters hanging out at her place for the summer. No Christmas crazyness happening there... just cruisy bbq's and hanging out at certain paddocks with well rounded shiny orange horses. Lily the said horse is just pleased as punch that her human has dyed her hair to match her. The hobbits had a bit to say about it all but that is another story... for another day

Danny sat up, by Brooks' chair, his drooping wings started to perk up.
"Is that Auntie Bindi?" He asked. "I think so," said Brooks, "she's dialling direct from Hobbiton."

"Oh no" Said Terrie to no one in particular, "I can't seem to remember the plan. Are we headed to somewhere warm or somewhere cold."
She looked around and saw that everyone was looking at Brooks. It was great to hear Aunt Bindi's voice as she talked and filled them in on the new plan. It was...................

"SADDLE UP EVERYONE" Brooks shouted "We are off to Downunder !!! Next stop Hobbiton!!"
Cheers went up and people scrabbled to their Dragons, luggage was throw on and off they all went.

and oh how the cleaning and scrubbing and sorting began..... spare rooms aired and beds made up. Oh what a kerfuffle was happening even under the stairs. It is kind of like the big clean out before Bilbo's party. Oh my.... the adventures that are going to be had.....

"WHAT a kerfuffle," commented Santa Mouse. He was still sitting on Brooks' shoulder, snuffling into his hankie.
"WOULD YOU STOP doing that, please?!" As the mouse sneezed in her ear again. "Shorry," shnuffled the moushe.
"Bindi? Come in, Bindi?" shaid the moushe nto her intercom.
Danny was marshalling the dragons on to Air New Zealand Flight Ex-Racers to Wellington.
"Where'sh that cat?" Asked Mouse?
"Sorted.' Joe gave an evil grin.
Lexie covered her eyes with her paw.

At the Kiwi end, Bindi was wearing a special VIP tag which gave her access to the cargo area at Wellington.
She was ushering Dragonaire carriers onto the airstrip. "9; 10; 11 ..."
"How will we recognise her?" The Mouse was worried.
"Don't be shilly!" Shnapped Brooksh. "She's dyed her hair orange..."
"There she ish!" Cried Terrie, waving frantically ...

Danny was sitting in front of his loom ...
"Warp," he said, placing a claw tenderly on the thread. "Weft," he said, carefully placing another claw.
"WHAT??!!" He snapped???
"II''mm SORRY, SIR!" Bindi snapped to attention. "Dragon Transport. Ready"
"As you were, Corporal," snuffled Danny, Bindi relaxed.

Waving like a crazy woman..... standing at the gate waiting for everyone to arrive. So exciting! Speechless in such a long while, all Bindi could do is dish out the hugs and pineapple lumps to everyone. Pineapple lumps are a must when visiting Wellyton.
All the coats and covers woven and ready to wear - the invisible factor was vital in this oh so important job.
"righto... first we have to head into Weta Workshop for all the info we will need. Then we are going to head out.... Hobbiton, Matamata the next stop!"

"Wellyton!!!"
"They're in the boot," said Bindi.
All the Ex-racers looked confused, but Bara translated. "Trunk," she said, "And a Wellyton is a boot ..." This only confused everyone more.
"You're only confusing them more, Bara..." Said Bindi.
"Will we really need wet weather gear, Auntie Bindi?" Danny asked, pineapple juice running down his chin.

Brooks rolled up. Bindi snapped to attention and threw a smart salute. "Don't be silly, Bindi," said Brooks. "Our military precision has fallen apart."
"It's the orange hair," said Bara under her breath.
"Right!" said Zen, crisply, remembering her own military days. "Now Bindi, dragons are loaded; ex-racers present and incorrect. Lead on to Matamata!"
"Ma'am." she added.
"Wait!" said Brooks. "Where are Adcooper, Unbound, Big Tee, Pam, Lisa, Suzy, the Claires .. err ... Everybody?"
So Goalie turned around and she said ....."

"Oh enough already!!! I want to go home and see Rick and the boys" Terrie got up on her Dragon and flew home.
Brooks felt the same way, she was missing Brian and Rad and Bear and Belle and all her cats. She too got her Dragon and flew home.
This left Bara and the rest of them standing there wondering what to do next when they heard a beeping sound. It seemed to come from Zen's cell phone. She opened it trying to answer the call but it continued to beep. "Why is it doing this ?" she asked Bara.
Then the beeping became very loud and.............................
