Tonight on Space Channel, they ran a rather compelling TV movie about the beginnings of Doctor Who. It's called An Adventure in Space and Time and stars David Bradley (Argus Filch from the HP movies) as William Hartnell. Bradley did a marvelous job of portraying Hartnell right to the end of his run as the Doctor as his health declined. They even made him look rather like Hartnell, complete with the snow white page boy hair style. If it comes on BBCA, do give it a watch, it will not be a wasted couple of hours. The only disappointment was the casting of Patrick Troughton.... they would have done better to cast Troughton's grandson Sam;
The other Doctor show tonight brought the comments of a few companions and all the surviving Doctors. Was shocked to see the plastic doll that the actress who played Susan (Carol Ann Ford{ has become. Her face is mostly immobile (Joan Rivers, anyone?) .
Waiting for tomorrow's broadcast................. .

Argggghhhh, we are in our peak season and I'm missing too much of this. Sigh. Will have to see what the cable company I pay too much money to has on there 'on demand' feature, when I finally get some sleep. I started work around 5PM last night, and well, haven't slept yet. Tis the season, falalala la.
BTW, much as Tom Baker was fun, Pertwee was my favorite too.
