This coming Saturday is the 50th Anniversary of the Doctor on BBC. They are showing all kinds of Doctor shows this week and then on Saturday a very special show. They(BBC) have been working months on this and have released very little about it. I do know the story will have more the one Doctor.

I watched the first episode with Jon Pertwee. Those were the days.

We are getting the same thing here on Saturday - looks to be decent as long as there isn't too much Matt Smith (he ranks up there for bad with Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker for me). Watched Saturday night and they ran the Tennant episode where the Daleks moved the earth and 26 other planets. Zen, Pertwee is still my favourite Doctor although Tennant is a very close second. Must admit, however, with CGI technology and larger budgets, the new Autons are much better than the ones in silver lamee that were in that first Pertwee episode

Been watching all day in between trips to town. Really like Christopher too. The big show on Saturday will be global simulcast so watch time, it plays here at 11AM. Also another special Friday night also all about the very being of Doctor Who don't miss it.
