I've just recently found my dad's old Super-8 movies. It documents my childhood between 9 and 17. But it's not all about me, it's about our family and pets.
I've sent it to a few people, including my cousin Margo and her brother Ron, little sister, Shona. We were always 'BESTEST' friends, Margo and I. Then, of course, we lost touch as our lives moved on.
This won't last forever, either. But how about that? We both stayed horse girls! Look what she says about our 11-yr-old selves : I can't disagree ....
Hi, just had a trip down memory lane, thank you for that. Some lovely footage of the folks and the grandparents, Granny and Pop were such dears. Granny must have been a very pretty woman in her youth. Three things really struck me - how odd to see our parents so much younger than we are now: how odd to see the Falls from what to me is the “wrong” side - and what crap riders we were!

Yes Brooks - and how young our parents were! I've tracked down a guy who was a colleague of my Dad's - all those years and continents ago!! He was a sweetheart.
I've found someone who knows him. He's 87, now, in retirement in Rhode Island. His friend is going to New England for Christmas - and taking him a copy of the disc.
