My nephew Bennet (age 16) will be visiting from Germany, April 12-26. His great passion is Basketball! All he wants to do is see pro ball live. We could manage Indianapolis, Cleveland, Chicago or Milwaukee, but the season will be almost over by the time he gets here. How soon do playoffs start? How soon can you tell where those tournaments will be played? How much is this going to cost me??!! I know we will be failures at entertaining a teenage boy generally, but if we could just get the sports thing right, it should be okay. Any thoughts on the NBA?
Oh! I see Chicago plays Orlando at home on April 14. How cool would THAT be. But the $$$ oh my.

I can tell you about the Battersea Owls? Very big in their day. No.?
Maybe not. I know a few of the team from the Atlanta Olympics. But, honestly even you would get a crick in your neck looking into their faces. 7ft something, to a man. Ron Something, the black guy. Danny Something, the white guy.
No, not much help.

Going to any game can be expensive, but I'm all for seeing the Bulls in Chicago. You could always take him to Billy Goats before the game too.

Oh well, Auntie Ann, you and Uncle Bruce are just going to have to choke on the dollars and live on Poutine for the rest of the year.
You can't let him come all the way to the States an NOT take him to Chicago V Orlando.
Now, can you?
