Is anybody GOING???!!! I would love to, BUT........ There are some really nice horses running and SMARTY JONES HAS FOUR KIDS RUNNING!! Smarty'sEcho is in the juvenile, Centralinteligence is in the mile, and Indian Jones and Old Time Hockey are running in the Marathon. PA stallions are well represented with Fort Larned (E Dubai....he's next to Smarty) in the Classic and defending his 2012 win; Pants On Fire (Jump Start, who is on the other side of Smarty) dirt mile; Ria Antonia, Rockport Harbor (he died this year) in the juvenile fillies; Great Hot, Orientate in the filly and mare sprint. And then there is the PRINCESS.....Princess of Sylmar who has been burning up the track. She is in the distaff today. She has run against and defeated several of the mares running today......Royal Delta, Beholder.. It's going to be an exciting race day and may they all get back safe and sound AND GOOD LUCK TO SMARTY'S KIDS AND THE PRINCESS AND MAY THEY WIN!!!! Sadly I won't be able to watch since i don't have TV, but I'll catch it on the internet later

Watched the Turf Classic on live stream and saw some magic. Like Will Take Charge as a long shot, but think he should be breeding eventers as well as racers when he's done. Though, wow, he's grown to be 17 hands, so he may not have figured that whole frame out yet. It's really too bad they don't start them racing a year later, so that they can be more grown into themselves before racing. Anyway, lots of nice horses, so who knows. Palice Malice and Will Take Charge would make a great box. Otherwise, Mucho Macho Man does have Gary Stevens up and, well, have to admit they look good for the Classic. Hmmm, box a trifecta? Good thing I don't bet unless I go to the track, or I'd probably loose my shirt.

It was sad one filly took a miss step and was PTS and the jockey was injured. Found out later he had his spleen removed.
It was a great days at the races, watch both days of it.

Must say the classic had about as exciting a finish as a race could and two out of three ain't bad. Is Palice Malice still running?
Will Take Charge, definitely figuring out those long legs of his. Even so, with a less complicated trip, would have been the one to catch.
