Isn't it weird?
I get notifications nearly every day. Some of them, I know. Some of them - I think : 'I know that name from somewhere....'
Some of them, I think : "WHO the flip are YOU?"
How does it work? Does anyone know? How are they linking in??

Yes, same sort of thing, Brooks. It's supposed to be a 'professional' network. But to be honest, just as FB, it's only very occasionally I think : "Oh, hello! Yes, nice to hear from you."

Being very anti-social, I would not join.......I think my BIL ask us to join his' group. I said "no thanks"
I have enough with FB, ER, and Fish(another bd).

Yes, linked-in - I haven't really looked into it, but I do have an account and am "linked" with a bunch of work-related people. But I don't do anything with it...much like Facebook...
I think people use it for working connections / prospects etc.

I take it ALL back! I received a communication from my friend, Angela. We lost touch, what ... 10 years ago?! She has been away, got married, had (beautiful) children - and now she's back at work. She has moved from Marketing (which is where we met.) She's now working in the music department of Eton College. (It's close to where we all live/d.) I don't get linked in very well. I have two friends who invited me to join, but....... I get environmental types from time to time. Several people I worked with show up from time to time, but i haven't had much incentive to join in. I'M TIRED AMD RETIRED!!!!  |

Now, Troofie. So am I. I get everything from Greenpeace to the beastly Sea Shepherds. May Neptune get them and drag them to the depths. And hold them down.
