What a wonderful couple of days! All my good intentions of schooling Forry - blown out of the water, but I don't care! I'll get down to all those wonderful suggestions every night next week... every OTHER night? A couple of times?
The sun is bright, the sky is blooooo! My horse is changing from 'Thug' to 'Babe' mode. (Due bow to Cypress-Babe.) They've opened up the erstwhile soggy bits of Parkland. Today, Forry and I just toddled off on our own and sang silly songs together whilst cantering in time over acres and acres of green fields. "Fo-reee, Fo-hoh-hoh-hoh-reee, Bay-ay-beee!")
How wonderful a horse is on his own without having to 'compete' and 'beat' other horses on a big ride.
Plus! I tried out his new 'rapping' boots (TOLD you we were singing!) before next month's cross-country events and expected a little tap-dance or two from Forry. Not a bit of it! He decided they were the horsey equivalent of 'cool trainers' - and was showing off for everyone we met.
Can life get much better???

That sounds heavenly! I can't wait to do the same with Charm, and I might do it sooner than later 'cause today it's supposed to be...(drumroll)... 50 degrees! Maybe all that snow and ice will finally melt!
ok, what's the scoop on the 'rapping' shoes...borium? studs? Are you doing an event soon? Got the warp-speed / huge jump under control then...?!
