Every day when I put Jenny outside in this cool weather, she runs around bucking and kicking for a few minutes. Nina thinks it's great fun to run along outside the fence barking at her, much to Jenny's annoyance. She pins her ears and kicks out at her, but Nina always stays safely on the outside of the fence. So today, after running around for a few minutes, she stopped to get a drink. Nina continued to bark at her. All of a sudden Jenny dipped her face in the water, threw her head and tossed about five gallons of water right onto Nina. Poor Nina was drenched, lol. It was absolutely hilarious and Jenny agreed as she ran off bucking and kicking. Nina wasn't so sure it was funny, but it was effective. She stopped barking and slunk away, very chastised. I sure wish I had a video camera running. It could have been a winner on America's Funniest Videos.

Lol, maybe. I have to say though, Nina is pretty smart, too. TOday, when I turned Jenny out, she ran off as usual with Nina in hot persuit. The only difference was that each time Jenny would go past the water trough, Nina would stop far short of it, then wait for her to come back so she could chase her again. BOTH of them are geniuses I think.

Too funny! Too bad you didn't record it! I often regret not to have a camera on hand too, when I turn the horses out 1st thing in the morning. The other day Charm ran out to the paddock, rolled, then spent a solid 2 minutes on her hind legs, bouncing like a kangaroo, and squealing, while the others were trying to ignore her.
