I'm exhausted, but after three weeks of studying, crash course learning and a bit of luck, at yesterday's Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Fall Mixed sale, I managed to add another in foal broodmare and two weanlings to my herd. I got the mare home last night and the babies today. I am hoping to get them all settled into a quick routine because Friday I am leaving for a MUCH NEEDED four day vacation in the Adirondacks with DH and DD. For now, I'm crashing for the night.

Wow! Sounds like a lovely shopping excursion, followed by a relaxing getaway. Enjoy it! (And remember it when you're yawning on foal watch!)

Zen, you have to log in to your Facebook account to see them.
Wow, I love the chestnut mare, she is GORGEOUS! The weanlings are little darlings.
I am so jealous!

I agree bonesmom. Daria, the chestnut is unusually gorgeous. She's also only five years old so I should have her around for a long time hopefully. She is bred to Noonmark and it should be a great cross for a sprinter. She raced only three times but had a 4th, then a second, then a first. Once they got the win, they retired her for breeding.

Sorry Bonesmom, I'm one of the faceless ones.
