He is now known as Blue. Which is fine. Sandra is taking care of him. They lost Kindy this summer.

I don't know Sandra or Kindy, but I am so glad to hear about Blue Boo!

Sandra is Boo's- err - Blue's new mum. Kindy was his new big sis, another GSD, just as bossy as Lexie. Kindy was 'getting on a bit' which is why they took the boy.
Sad.

I'm glad Boo has a boss dog. He needs that. My coworker has two GSDs--Bronwyn and Yoyo. Bronwyn looks important and brave, but is really sweet. Yoyo is smaller and more stealthy. In unison, their barking drowns out all other sound! If you managed to break into their house without going deaf, they would probably tangle themselves in your legs, then lick you to death when you fell down. But who would ever dare to enter a home that sounds like it's swarming with hell hounds!

Yes, thank you! I remember their first 'argument'. The noise was terrifying.
There's nothing like the noise of a dogfight, scary. I wasn't going to get in between two German Shepherds! Hoses and buckets later - no-one had laid a tooth on anyone else and there they were playing again.
I've learned to let be. Even li'l fat Joe can handle himself. No matter how Lexie bullies him, Joe turns into a Tasmanian Devil... Normally on top of the bed and on me!

Glad to here Boo is doing well. Sorry to hear they lost Kindy. Came back from vacation and the old retired event horse, Lazer, was gone. Knew it was coming, and his owner did the best thing for him, as he was having a hard time getting up. Still sad.

Aww. RIP Lazer. It's hard. I have just learned that Bravo has gone.
He wasn't particularly a friend of mine. He wasn't a handsome horse. But he was a stalwart of the stables. He did his job, faithfully for many years. I only rode him once - and BOY was he opinionated! But that's because he really DID know what he was doing.
He was too bright for his own good.

Glad to hear Blue-Boo is doing ok! He'll be his new owners' only dog now...will they spoil him?

Oh, I missed that Kindy was gone now! Yes, Boo might like being spoiled. Good suggestion, Claire!

I don't know. I THINK he'll love being an only dog. But on the other paw, he's had a bossy B since he was 3 months. He's used to being under the dew-claw.
I was almost frightened to phone Sandra back. She had called, but not left a message. She ALWAYS leaves a message....
I feel badly about Kindy. But relieved. The reason they adopted Boo was because they knew they would be losing Kindy. She was 13.
Whatever reason, I am just so grateful.
