Thanks Bara, great clips! Those Zumba classes invented nothing - the banana dance was the original! It's amazing there is even a clip of it, it was almost 100 years ago!

I have seen 'a' movie of Piaf, but I don't think it was this one. Now you've done it! I'll have to track it down.

I saw a play in the West End, moons ago, with Jane Lapoterre (sp?).* Amazing. To act is one thing. To 'sing-act' - wow.

Re : Josephine. I once saw a youtube thingie where they re-enacted the 'banana dance'. It drew so many criticisms, with people complaining that it was racist..
