Oh, I'm sorry, Tee. I'd heard of the Calgary stampede all those moons ago, when I lived in Chilliwack. I never got to go, though, so I don't know much about it. Wishing your friend well.

Bull Riding is about the most dangerous Rodeo event. I have a nephew who is a Rodeo eventer and was a Bull Rider until when he was 15 he got thrown and landed on a solid welded pipe fence and shattered one of his hip joints. His body and bones are still in a growth pattern so his surgeon keeps close tabs on his progress. That nephew now enters Team Roping. His younger brother has already started riding Saddle Broncs at Saddle Club Playdays. Their Mother, my neice encourages both boys to "cowboy-up".

It's very dangerous but those guys know what they may be in for. I guess he is out of hospital now and probably sitting at home. I don't know the kid, just that he lives close by. Probably know his grandparents though.
