I'm going to take a "lesson" with my three best buddies from the barn. It should be a riot! The hardest part was finding a time we could all make, so it will be a couple of weeks from now. Oooh, I wonder which school horse I'll get to ride! Probably not Monty. He belongs to the manager, and she's going to be in the group, too.

Whatever you do, during the lesson, you should play "trade horses" and everyone gets off and rides the other person's horse. Then do it again until you've ridden all three. FUN!

Oh well, you're on the same horse as I. It really is good fun, when you just start 'playing'. I saw Forry's boots from the underside - and then we went on jumping. Have lots of fun. I don't know if they do pony-trekking in Ohio?
That was fabulous when I was six. How about it? You and I?
\ps and you, Suzy. It would be the Highlands of Scotland. Probably not Shetlands - you're both a bit too tall...
Oh, look! I've got a flipping Shetland! And he moon dances. Drat!

FUN! I love lessons. I just have to remind my instructor (who does know me and Charm rather well) that I'm not one of her teenager students and nope I can't canter / jump forever without a breather...lol
I think I posted here on having a lesson on one of her young horses when Charm was off. Man was it different! He's one of those "push-push-push, I'd rather pick up the canter than work at trot" geldings. Not much steering, either, and we barely missed slamming into the arena wall a few times before I realized I really had to do ALL the work...lol And Instructor was bombarding me with commands so much, my head was like a pumpkin!
This is the type of rides that make me LOVE my horse even more! Bliss, to me, is a dressage or jumping lesson on Charm. She transforms into the "true little sport horse that could have gone very far with a more competent rider"!

What a treasure is your Charm! Well, riding the reluctant-to-go ponies just give us better workouts, right!?
