Yes. I know. At this rate I'll soon be useless. But I rode Monty again. Nice big gelding. But quite unlike Cypress! I never needed a gas pedal with that mare, but this guy! Ugh. Push push push. No photo of me riding, but here is an old photo of Cypress and Monty in the pasture together. He's bigger, but surprisingly doesn't feel that way once you are in the saddle.

Oh I like quiet, and slow!!!!! After riding a few fire breathing dragons, and usually followed by a gravity lesson, I am more than happy to mosey!! lol

Funny how people SAY they want to ride a push-a-long ride cause it's safer, but then when they are on the horse, they miss that zippy feeling of a horse with some energy. Now, seriously, if you MUST have a more forward horse to ride, please feel free to take advantage of a full lease on a certain black TB.

OH. MY. GOSH. How can you even ask that? Teddy is NINETEEN! And no, he has not slowed down one bit. He can still passage, piaffe, canter pirouette, AND do airs above the ground without strain.

Only 19? Well how did I get to be so old if he's still in his prime.

Goal is the same way as Teddy and he is 22. His airs above the ground today were so high. He was quite proud of himself. Now Buddy is slow and steady. Nothing seems to amaze him or make him want to go any faster than a walk. I'm glad you are back riding Ann.

I rode again today. Wow! Two days in a row. It's been a long time...
And we cantered just a bit. The canter is stiff, but it improved the trot. Still, I don't know if this horse will ever go from a trot to a walk. He just slams to a halt. I can't even think about halting, or he is four on the floor and immobile. Must be his QH side, right?
Don't get any ideas! I may never ride again. I'm not ready. I just rode Monty a few times. That's all.

You want forward? I'll send you Guy. He's push, push, push, until he gets a hair up his butt. What happened to my rolly eye guy. I get this instead now.
