Rad's sheath is swollen and sore, larger on one side and a funny (not the Haha kind) mass just behind the sheath. Vet has been called and will here in the morning. He told us to use hot packs till then.
Apparently there is a lot of it going around this area.
I was wondering why he was not lying down as much or would go down and the jump back up, now I know.

Good news !! It is not strangles 
It's the "your horse is TOOO FAT" disease 
Rad has always been a good eater. But we have gotten lazy about his exercise, so his feed will be reduced some and more exercise is what the vet recommends. I love our vet, tells it like it is.....no bull.
