I was weeding the garden and went to pull up some ivy, and I almost grabbed my resident snake. I refuse to kill it, because they really are good to have, but he scares the crap out of me everytime!!! The little guy needs a name!

Ooh, have you looked him up? Be careful. I'd call him The worm Ouroborous.

What a beautiful snake you have. Snakes have such a bad rap, but most are quite beneficial. Meaning I like them more than mice, rats and bugs.

That Zen is the reason I will try not to hurt him, but he does freak me out!!! The garden is his territory, and I try to keep a eye open for him, but sometimes he blends in so well that he surprises me, and I scream, run, and say LOTS of bad words!!!! My neighbors probably think I have a demon or Tourettes!!

When my kids were small, they caught a garter snake that was about the size of a pencil. When he died from some sort of tumor years later, he was about three feet long and an inch of so in diameter. His name was Coils. My one son has a snake right now, a ball python, named Mr. Slithers, lol.
