I hope Lexie isn't allergic...
Lorelei (the cat) once tried to play with a wasp (or a bee, or...). She got stung in the paw. It actually was pretty comical, and she wasn't even lame...just had a monstrously swollen left paw. My daughter was very upset, but her cat didn't think it was such a big deal...I've noticed that she only watches buzzing things, now, as opposed to trying to catch them.

She's ok - not sure about the fly. My TV is covered in nose prints and slobbers. But that's Joe. He loves hunting elephants on Animal Planet ...

Winter used to eat wasps. He was great for picnics. Every now and again he'd get a little swollen lip in the early years, but pretty much seemed impervious to the stings and must have developed a tolerance over the years. Apparently he found them tasty, so there was no stopping him from eating the things.
