Hunter pace pics and a rose

This is the last hunter pace we did, and Charm was a star, jumped everything I pointed her at.

Last jump on course, in her very own style (she only picks up her knees over jumps that she thinks "deserve" it, lol)


A couple strides after that, after the finish line. Good girl! She didn't even blink at all the people / horses milling around straight ahead.

CC the jump was new this year, it used to be a nice brush jump, but this one was very tempting as well and since it was new and bright I thought she might pick up her knees better - nope! Needs to be much lookier or bigger! It was a perfect day. Warm and dry, no bugs, perfect riding weather. I wish it could stay like this ALL summer.

I love the rose bush! It smells soooo good, too. I'm tempted to plant another one near a window.

Charm looks fantastic and so do you Niaru! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I love that rose -- I got a yellow rose for Mom's Day and it's planted and blooming pretty well now... The roses come out really yellow at first, but then they fade to a pale whitish color... I wish they would a little yellower!!!!!
