Lets see post time is 4PM there, so 10AM here and can't find anyone on cable showing it. Maybe TVG, but I don't get TVG, so.... don't think I'll be watching. Apparently for all the money I dish out to cable I don't' get HRTV which does have the Epsom on, but denied. You'd think BBC America might show it, but nope, they have Kitchen Nightmares on instead.

So maybe will be able to watch on YouTube later?

Checked out the horses. Seems Battle of Marengo is the favorite, but I kinda like Chopin and Ocovango has a really cute face.

Queenie has just arrived - it's more or less her front garden. It's the 100th year anniversary when the suffragette threw herself in front of the king's horse - and died. So I expect Queenie is quite keen on security...

They've just been showing vintage black and white footage of her jumping onto the track. The poor horse tries desperately to jump her. It's thought that she was trying to put a scarf on him, saying 'Votes for Women'.

And spare a thought for the jockey!

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
