Cyclop Horse! What happened? He's not snoring on the picture! Is he ok? Nice flowers. I'll raise you: An azalea with phlox and a watchful dog A native beauty green grass and flowers A fragrant yellow rosebush (my first rose! Hopefully I don't kill it!) And one mad cat (if looks could kill...Nancy's dog would be dead many times over ;D )

Brooks is that rosemary next to your roses? I LOVE a dry, hot climate. "green" is treasure, but then you don't have many bugs either, right?
The green here is the reward for all those rainy, humid days! It BETTER be green, lol! More pictures to come...the flowering is still just beginning, here.

Yes that is Rosemary. And we do have some bugs earwigs and spiders mainly. We also have rattle snakes !!!! I lived in Oregon as a kid. I loved the rain and green and cool climate. Dry is good but it means growing stuff is hard on a well, don't want to "waste" too much water on plants I had a wonderful garden at one time here. I sure miss it.

My latest haven't bloomed yet, but everything is really growing with all the rain we've had. Meaning, it's time for me to get out and cut the hay that should be my lawn.

Lisa those are lilies. I have some too, but they're nowhere near flowering yet! They're in an area with classic day lilies, and tall daisies.
Zen, same here, everything's been growing like crazy including weeds!
