Have you watched 'The Good Life"? The re-runs are on. I love Margo. (Penelope Keith).
Barbara is a pain (but then we KNOW that.) Felicity Kendall.

No, but I will check it out. Have you watched a US show called Master Chef. It begins a new season tonight on Fox channel. I really like it.

No, I do watch Master Chef UK and MC Australia. It makes me hungry every time!
Why am I watching cooking shows, when I should be on diet?

I hope they run The Good Life here - loved it when I first saw it and will likely appreciate it more now that we've lost the delightful Richard Briers. Loved Felicity Kendal in Rosemary & Thyme as well, another show the stations cut off in mid run.
Watched a bit of Master Chef last night and saw three very grossed out chefs when that man served them beaver. They all hovered over the dish like it was going to kill them and hadn't a clue what to do with the tail. Shocked that the guy got an apron.

;D How do you cook beaver tail??
Ah yes, I'd forgotten that Richard Briers was 'gone'.
Do you watch 'Only Fools' .. (And Horses) ? Del-Boy and Rodney? Now THEY are Cockney! David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst.

The guy on Master Chef split the tail and grilled it.
Never managed Only Fools and Horses as it came on at odd hours for me. Only thing I regularly watched David Jason in was Touch of Frost

I don't know why I asked, I'm never likely to cook a beaver tail! ;D In fact, I'm never likely to see a beaver! In Shetland, all you need to know is how to cook lamb. Or mutton. Or lamb. I love David Jason, he's very versatile. From memory, he started very young in 'Open All Hours' with Ronnie Barker; did 'The Darling Buds of May', which I haven't watched, but was very successful. 'Only Fools' and 'Frost' .... ... and I'm sure that is not his full biog.
